Cossack Feb 15th 1905

Dear mother

Just a line to say we are both well. I have used all Aubreys iron tablets in mistake for cercaria[?] . We had 2 inches of rain last week the country is looking well. There has been bad wether at Onslow the Church is blown down and some of the pearlers are disabled. Pauline[?]  will call on you when she is settled. W. Bryan has gone south at last

Miss Reid is going away also Mrs Henry and Henry were in town Henry has a very bad finger Maunsel is attending him. You have heard of Dr Browns move to Pt. Hland at £500 a year if any of us get ill it will be easy to go there by boat. Moun & Jambo are both dead also Jimby. Our natives are behaving very well. Hunt is leaving at the end of this month he is going clerk with Hepburn he is no loss Banger has gone south Mrs Banger is coming home shortly

Mr Haynes has gone to Broome I hear he is appointed there where the Rev Davis & Mrs Davis he is visiting Onslow at present Kabie[?]  wrote and told me she had seen you both in Perth Be sure and thank Aunt Addie for the invitation she sent me to go and stay with them. I must say good bye with love to yourself and Joy.
