Archive items:
- Every itemItem (definition: An item is any single physical or digital piece of an archive. Each item gets its own page, and may form part of a parent item.) should have a page in the main namespace, and use {{item}}
- Storage locations should use {{storage location}}
- Display sets of items with {{items}}
Each archive should have it's own template based on {{archive-nav}} (and one on {{archive-tile}} for the Main Page):
Biographies:
- {{person}}
Places:
- {{place}}
Typography:
- {{date}}
- {{sc}} for small-caps text
- {{u}} for underlined text
- {{quotation}}
- {{reflist}}
- {{illegible}} (or the shortcut {{Template:Illegible}}) for text in transcriptions that you can't read: lorem [illegible] ipsum.
Interwikis:
- {{On Wikipedia}}
- {{On Commons}}
- {{On HMW}}
Defined terms:
Maintenance:
- {{todo}} to mark something as needing following-up.
- {{bad image}} for images that are too large to have their thumbnails rendered correctly.
