Joseph Hill was born in 1727 in Paulton.[1]
He married Mary Saunders (daughter of John Saunders of Paulton) on 19 July 1752. They had no children, and she died young and was buried on 5 June 1758.[1]
Then he married Christina, daughter of John Langford, of Timsbury (baptized at Timsbury on 16 April 1733, buried at Paulton 12 July 1807). They married on 5 July 1759.[1]
They had one son, Joseph Hill, in 1765.[1]
Buried at Paulton 30 Sept 1767, aged 40.[1]
