Tientsin, 3d Nov. 1903
My Dearest Mary,
I wrote you yesterday on my arrival at Tientsin. I am sleeping at the Astor House Hotel, but breakfasted at & dined with Mr Gilmour yesterday & am gone with him & his [illegible] today on a break to the Tientsin Races.
