Welcome

Hi, thanks for dropping by! Let me know if you have any questions about this site. :-) Sam Wilson 23:50, 17 December 2019 (UTC)

Hi, excuse me for editing with the demo account. I was checking the Genealogy extension. To see if it was useful to me (and it is) on a Miraheze wiki.
I didn't realize there were recent edits because almost every time I enter a wiki that uses a certain extension, there are never edits. Greetings. --TestGenealogy2 (talk) 18:55, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
No worries! If you want to do more testing, there's a demo wiki for the Genealogy extension at toolforge:genealogy. Is your Miraheze wiki public? I'm always interested to see other genealogy wikis! Let me know if you have any ideas for the Genealogy extension. I'm working on better diagram support at the moment. —Sam Wilson 00:44, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
Sorry for not being clear, I'm a little capricious about privacy. I'm the Hispano76 editor. We may have met before in Phabricator.
Actually, I will use the extension for a somewhat different approach but following the same line of genealogy between relatives. That is to say, to create biographies with information that I can use for an alternative history wiki in addition to arranging information about which biographies lack images among others.
Currently the articles would be for a while in this wiki in the Info namespace (because it's a MetaWiki and IncubatorWikimedia wiki) but since I haven't customized the vital templates yet (example), I haven't advanced in this.
I suppose that at the moment, what would lack the extension is a configuration by name spaces, something that WikidataPageBanner does for example. --TestGenealogy2 (talk) 03:17, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
Do you suggest that I request this configuration in Phabricator? --TestGenealogy2 (talk) 18:46, 19 December 2019 (UTC)

Hi again then! :) Those sound like interesting wikis. And a namespace config system sounds useful (although I may not be thinking of it correctly); yep, if you could create a task for it under the Genealogy project, that'd be brilliant. Thanks!

Done. Greetings. :) --TestGenealogy2 (talk) 20:31, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
