Cossack March
23rd

Dear Aubrey

Glad to hear from you and that you are all well It will be a good thing the meat preserving co starting. I agree about the Head Stone and Service, but be carefull not to spend more than the £180.90.0 as I have very little private money. No general rain here yet a few showers &[?]  in at [illegible] . The Roebourne races will be very poor only £5 [illegible] . Another Turtle Co are getting ready to work in Cossack the Nicol Bay is out west getting Turtle now. Glad Margaret is having a good time The govt are limiting the output of shell this year 5 tons per boat and no engine boats allowed to work I hear there about 180 men drawing relief in Port Darwin and men all along the track[?]  to Wyndham

Love to you all and to Joan
