of the 6th, which he was very please to have. I wonder if you have had no dividends from the company all this time, (as I haven't). It seems strange that it should be so long! And I ?? be, like you, very thankful to have them when Mr Ackley will be kind enough to get busy again.

You will be pleased to see dear Judith so happily placed and I hope she is finding the [illegible]  not too strenuous for a start I would like to have seen the hours[?]  a wee bit shorter. If she was doing shorthand too, that would not be so hard, especially as her shorthand is so good.

I am glad that [illegible]  is [illegible]  his father & mother in the meantime

as they have been without ?? for so long. Charlie had a lovely afternoon on the "Hills" & they got back at 6.30pm they all went to the church service at 8pm & then on to my cousin's ([illegible]  May[?] ) for afternoon tea. Jessie Livingston & May were also with them & Herbert & Peggy Hay & their three young children so they had a happy time. So glad to hear that your[?]  mother is with you & is well after the big trip.

I am glad so say that we are well too & Margaret very much better, no doubt your [illegible]  is very good & it must be a great help to you to have the machine. With our fond love to you all most sincerely Maimie.
