William Wilson snr. (c.1798–1873)
Andrew Wilson (– ?)
Eldest of the three brothers. A cotton mill owner in Glasgow. Fairly well-off, and a prominent member of the Freemasons, but "gave great scope to the social side of his nature; a fact that did not tend to his continued prosperity, or the betterment of his life." Died young with no issue.
