Sir

Empire Day. We are planning^[?]  with the launch^[?]  on Monday week in our observances, the programme for which includes addresses & exercises for the children, suitable^[?]  to the occasion. I am whole-heartedly with those who would lead the nation^[?]  of tomorrow to a real appreciation of the Imperial heritage to which they have been born & ^[illegible]  my small endeavours will always be to that part^[?] .
