Wednesday 12th

Dear Aubrey

Henry ?(…ded) writing but each night at an election meeting generally see the ?(raise), but about yr suggestions for flour ? – he thinks it adviseable to get ? ?(Wa….) sugar is ?(Ch…) throughout the state owing to the strike & it was doubtfull if we get any ? the last three weeks we were only getting3lbs a week each house, Today get 6lbs the Dimboola is due tomorrow with a shipment get a good loading Some at Wakens and the Chinamans in case this strike continues & the steamers are delayed

Wrote Mrs Aubrey & posted yesterday with ? parcels me a work you with mile ? ? reading ? you could send it back no need to hurry but didn’t put so much postage on. See what we ? Henry was very satisfied with yr letter & all youre dairy hope all goes well & that the seasons continue good. Must have tea early another mutiny so this can be posted not at ? the ? going tomorrow hope you are all well get in a good supply order early
