My dear Aubrey,
I wonder if you received a wire I sent you last Saturday, asking if you could come up & have a yarn to poor old Henry but I do not think it could have reached you as you are always prompt in replying. Well, we will hope this will arrive ?(saftly (sic)) & see you soon, Henry longs to have a chat with you, there are so few he cares to see – he is still in bed ?(five) weeks tomorrow now nothing must do but he has fever & ague. I suppose Mrs Hall is afraid of typhoid, please give her & ?(Joy) my love. I must bring this to a close I am trying to get the ? ?
I hear yr speech the other evening was a great success
With ?(kind) regards.
Sincerely yrs
Ada Gillam
