worrying at all. Surely you can put it to him squarely — Say, after a few months of successful running, you told him, quite politely, that you were not satisfied & that you wanted [illegible]  crew, you'd get it, & he'd think none of the worse of you for it. — He works on the principle of "Business is business," — & it cuts both ways. Think it over girl, — I hate to think of you working so damned hard, — night & all, for insufficient remuneration. I don't want you to think that I'm always growling, — but a fair think is fair enough. — for both parties.

Thank you for your assurance of your confidence in my ability to get along — Marg — (what a mouthful!) & it does help. — What I want to do is to get down to Perth & sit for my "B" licence — a senior ticket to the ones I hold now. I will probably pass o.k. & then I will be fully qualified. After that, — circumstances permitting, I'll take up wireless, — telegraphy and the technical side also. There appears to be a definite movement afoot in the firm to arrange for a duplication, or augmentation of the service. Which is all to the good. The immediate future holds immense
