Sir Your (undated) [illegible] re
Policy 262654.
This policy has been in force about 48 years during which time it has cost me about £750, at the end of 30¼ years the company had ? from me £500 cash.
You can as as easily as I, starting from the £16.5.0 first years ? paid in 1911 work out the prospective compound interest at 3½% up to 1941 when the company could have handed me a fully paid up policy and still shown a good profit on the dea. For some years prior to joining your Coy I had Policies with the A.M.P. for £1750 with profits at the time was in business in [illegible] as a stock & station agent, ? ? building up a cattle station ? Hedland but 3 dairy ? continuous fact in the matter of cattle plus the 1914 war, plus the closing of Cossack as a port ?ing ? that solid at a capital ? £2000 almost ?.
