My dear Sarah
Truly glad am I to find you have commenced your voyage so prosperously & I trust the Almighty will preserve & guide you safely to the end of it. How often during the winter months shall I wish I could see you or that you were near enough for me to write frequently & have an answer as we used to do. Give my love to dear H I am very sorry he was ill but that is all over & I hope he will not feel any inconvenience (of that kind) again during the voyage tell him I never did make light of sea sickness for I know to my sorrow how bad land sickness is so if the other is worse I do pity those suffering from it. I can hardly thank him for his wish respecting myself for I fancy there was a little bit of mischievous pleasure in his sudden desire for my company did not he wish I shd have a benefit also. A day or two after you left a large parcel of Tracts was sent here from the Book seller to the Christian Knowledge Society, no doubt thro’ Miss Braithwaite, bless her! I wish they may be of all the benefit she imagines. I will take care they are put with your dear Father’s things at the [?Bull] so no doubt you will have them sometime. You will be sorry to hear poor Mrs [?Trigance] is I fear almost in a dying state, I was quite shocked on Monday at the change I observed she is dreadfully emaciated and so feeble. I feel very sorry for her husband & the poor children. Pray write to us every opportunity. I shall always be so glad to know how you are both getting on. I will set down Miss Spencers address & if you choose to give it to any of your Friends any thing at any time sent there will always be forwarded to you by me — give my very kind love to H & with the same to yourself.
Believe me ever
Your affectionate Aunt
Amelia
