The Belfast Newsletter, 14 February 1834:[2]

MARRIED

On Suday morning the 9th inst. by the Rev. John Shaw of Ballynahinch, Mr. Hugh Croskery, merchant, Downpatrick, to Charlotte W. Brown, third daughter of the late Alex. Brown, Esq. of Round Hill.

A one farthing piece, auctioned in 2025 and sold for £132.[3]

In the 1850s he was a wine, spirit, and tea merchant in Downpatrick.[3]
