Laetitia was aged six when she came to W.A. with her parents. She was paptised at the parish church of St Mary-at-Lambeth, London on 6th May 1827 along with Sarah Louisa, Henry Hastings & Wm. Shakespeare Hall — her sister & brothers.
As far as I know Fred. Henry Valentine had a twin, Robert Edward, who died of [illegible] when he was about 3yrs old. Canon Henn[?] recorded that Laetitia had a daughter, Sophia Georgina, born 8/4/1853 & Laetitia Sophia, born 15/10/1854 & died 22/10/1854.
The twins were born at the 47 mile tree on the Albany Road when Anderton was bringing Laetitia to Wongong in a "bullock cart," so her "baby" could be born at home. The births were a month premature but the babies survived & were reported as "doing well" at Wongong where they were taken. Laetitia died of cancer in 1877. She came by boat to Perth after a trip of 20 days so presume she had perhaps been to Roebourne or COssack (where her busband had died in 1875). Letters say how brace & sweet she was & sourounded by friends & kindness whilst she was in Perth Hospital under the care of Dr Waylen.
