Mch 15th 1922.
Dear Aubrey,
Yours of Feby 18th to hand also the saddle bag via Roebourne, for which many thanks it was kind of you When I went to W _ esina[?] I went straight for the bag & on seeing the note guessed at once it was left by you.
Only had 30 points of rain here since your visit & it didn't have time to get dried up by the sun as the ground was so hot it just rose again in steam
Arthur & I saw 12 ewes in one mob the other day & I was able to save my face by saying they were some you had must- ered & driven down here[?] .
