Dear Judith

I am sending you a Funny Clock, it has hands but no feet, a face but no nose, it goes but it doesn't move, it tells the time but never tells tales & it is called The Not The Time To Cry Clock.

It doesn't matter whether it's 20 past 9oc up in the morning or a ¼ to bedtime when you tummel down & hurt your knee ooh! Before you Start To Cry, have a look at your Funny Clock and you will see it will be the time not to cry.

Dear Judith I send you an Easter egg,
For it's late arrival I pandum leg[?] ,
No hailed[?]  as hard as a granite road,
But I'm sorry to say not full of "chock",
The weather is cold, I hope you're cosy,
With cheeks like the egg quite round & rosy.

Faffar.
