My Dear Theodosia

I received yours on the 18th and was very happy to see you did not complain of my coming up as it would have been of no use, it being an unavoidable necessity which prevented my doing so I thought rather strange you did not mention Mr Wollaston in the note before this He several time came to inquire if I had heard from Perth He told me He had taken Tea with you and that He tried to be as Gallant as possible to show off the Bunbury Chaps I am certain of being up at the Quarter Sessions when I hope I shall be able to bring back Robert with me If you should see Him I wish you would ask Him if He will come as he would be of great assistance to me I assure you I am doing every thing as quickly as possible according to my means and am working every day myself and hope to have every thing ready to commence to build previous to my visiting Perth as it would be foolish to make a beginning and leave it to be [?exhibited] for months before it was completed However I hope when I am blessed with the pleasure of seeing my own little Dear Theodosia I shall be able to give Her a satisfactory of my stewardship, very little news in this part Thomas Turner is to be married on Monday to Heppingstones sister and I am going to get married as soon as I can manage it I am sorry you are not fond of [?vocal] [?music] perhaps [---] is indeed I am sure if one of those dear little [?creatures] were to sing out near Her there would be a Duet My love to you my Dear and to [---] [---]

I remain Dear Theodosia

yours affectionately

E G Hester
