Frederick Lodge Martin (1914 – 6 July 1941) was a soldier in the Australian Army who was killed fighting in Syria during the Second World War.[1] He was 26.[2]
He was engaged to Beth Bailey.[3]

Warrant-Officer Fred Lodge Martin, reported killed in action on July 6, was a prominent member of the Cottesloe Surf Club and represented the State in the rescue and resuscitation team at Sydney in 1938. W.O. Martin was educated at Scotch College.
Before enlisting he was employed by the W.A. Trustee Company.
He played rugby with the Cottesloe club.
He is buried at the Beirut War Cemetery in Lebanon.[2][5]
