Cossack June 9th
Dear Aubry
I gave the Bishop all the particulars of our dear father's life including his stay on the Victorian gold fields also the newspapers out of the safe.
I went to the dedication ceremony the Archdeacon picking 4 of us Cossack people in his car and bringing us home after the service it was very kind of him.
The service was well attended the best congregation for a long time, many people admired the screen after the service. I was sorry to hear of Mr A R Richardson's death a very good man.
This is the best season we have had for many years here you can cut plenty of grass just past Jap town, there has been about five falls of rain. Capt and Mrs Banks of the "N Bay"[?] and Mrs Stone of the hotel went in the car with us. I hope Margaret is well by this give her my love and tell her I am very sorry for her, glad Helen and Joan landed safily before the bad weather. It was very good of Constance to help them and right of Helen to see her parents.
Love to you all
Ernest
