Rae was born in 1910 in Perth. She served in the Australian Army Nursing Service in the Second World War, overseas from 11 February 1941 to 23 March 1942, and 20 Oct 1942 to sometime in 1943 or 1944.^[1] Promoted to Captain in 1943.^[1] Died aged 101 on 25 March 2011.^[2]
