Born in Barhill, Ayrshire.[1] Emigrated to Australia with her parents as a child.[2] Mary married William Wilson in North Melbourne[2] in (possibly) 1864.[3] Buried in Boroondara Cemetery, Kew, Melbourne.[1]

WILSON.—On September 24, 1925, at her residence, Mere, Mont Albert-road, Canterbury, Victoria, Mary, widow of the late William Wilson, of Melbourne, and dearly beloved mother of W.G., A.O., R.C., and Agnew, of Sydney; Mamie and Margaret, of Melbourne; J.H. and C.M. of Perth, W.A., aged 82 years.
