Married Effie MUrray in Adelaide, when he was 30. They had at least one child, a son (Anderton Murray Hall, aged 34 in 1945).^[2]

Died aged 74 on 21 July 1945, when he was living at 28 Archdeacon Street in Nedlands. Cremated at Karrakatta 23 July.^[2]
